I’m Free Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free, I’m following the path God laid for me. I took His hand when I heard Him call, I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work, to play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, I’ve found that peace At the close of the day. If my parting has left a void— Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life’s been full, I’ve savored much, Good friends, good times, My loved one’s touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me, God wanted me now, He set me free. |

A Princess of Jesus I’m a child of the King So now I can sing. I’m His princess And I’ll have to confess, Once I was a sinner But now I’m a winner.
We make a big deal of a silver ring, So what I’m about to say might sting. This world is a mess But I’m still His princess. And with God on my side, He will guide me With all these pleasures behind me.
I pray these words have blessed your heart, And before it’s too late, I hope you’ve done your part. It’s very simple to accept Jesus, For he came to this earth to die and free us. Just ask Him to forgive you of being a sinner, Then you’ll, too, be a winner.
Now its easy to cry when I say goodbye, But just remember Jesus loves you and so do I. |
